Christopher James Lees named Dudamel Fellow with Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra

Christopher James Lees is named a Gustavo Dudamel Conducting Fellow with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra for the 2012-2013 season.  

One of four conductors selected worldwide, and only the second American awarded in the history of the Fellowship, Christopher worked closely with Music Director Gustavo Dudamel, guest conductors, and artistic staff during a six week residency in April/May 2013.  

He conducted the orchestra on a Toyota Symphonies for Youth (TSFY) program, served as cover conductor for all Los Angeles Philharmonic performances, led rehearsals with the Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA) and Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) youth orchestra El Sistema programs, and in various educational & community engagement activities around the city.
